338 eleventh st

Brooklyn, NY 11215

Hi. We're your possible future housemates.

We'd like to live with people who are looking for a peaceful, respectful, open-minded, clean place to cohabitate, and who don’t mind having a conversation or two about weekend plans or moderately obscure cultural references.

Chester

Born in Venezuela and raised in Texas, Chester's been in New York for over a decade and will wax poetic about what Bushwick was like years ago. He currently works in communications after spending a handful of years as a local journalist and will talk too much about kolaches.

Zac

Originally from Kentucky, Zac moved into the apartment a year ago, but has been in Park Slope for a while now. He's a quiet dude who strums the guitar, likes cooking, and enjoys the outdoors

Here's the apartment.

The kitchen and living room are shared and furnished, but we can discuss if you have items you're looking to bring with you. There are two (full) bathrooms — the largest bathroom is actually pretty big with a walk-in shower and a currently unused connection if we ever want to get a washer/dryer

Bills (gas/electricity/internet/renters insurance) vary but typically won't exceed $90 per roommate during summer with ACs running. We also do a regular run of shared household supplies to keep things like basic kitchen goods and toilet paper in supply.

Take a video tour.

This is an old video of the apartment from the broker before we moved in, but it should give a decent sense of the space. If the video's a little confusing, here's a diagram of the layout. There's technically a fourth bedroom that's used as an office/guest room, but it stays open so everyone can access the shared spaces without going into the building hallway.

Our shared spaces...

Here's where you'd sleep.

The available room is the apartment's largest. That's been helpful during the pandemic in terms of working from home. The room also has the most sunlight in the apartment thanks to its three windows. There's plenty of room for a queen-sized bed, desk, bookshelves, etc.

The departing roommate is also willing to sell the 3-piece Ikea closet currently in the room (and which block the French doors to a housemate's room.)

If all of this checks out for you, don't hesitate to follow up!
